A bit about me ...

More than 40 years ago, I began my artistic voyage by watching Bill Alexander on PBS television. A few years later, Bob Ross launched his PBS TV series. In 1988, I was certified in Bob's first Certified Ross Instructor (CRI) program. I am now also a Founding Member of the Bill Alexander Certified Instructor program. (BACI)

Now, 40 years later, I am continuing to share the visions of both Bill and Bob and teach hundreds of first-time and seasoned painters every year.

Now, as Bob Ross and Bill Alexander's Joy continues to encourage first-time painters to begin their artistic journey, I have launched Beyond the Joy as an online resource. You can access it anytime, from the comfort of your home, to learn how to paint using the details of this classic technique.
